Depression

Kaiser Permanente members who may be experiencing symptoms of depression can now take immediate steps to access care with our new interactive Depression Care Guide (designed for adults 18 years and older) on kp.org. Through the guide, members complete a self-assessment (with just eight questions) that provides tailored resources based on their symptoms and region with one click of a button.

The Depression Care Guide has valuable information for anyone interested in learning more about depression. Members are also assured that their self-assessment results will not be shared with any KP health provider or saved in their medical records.

The Depression Care Guide supports our mental health strategy by providing:
·        An immediate self-service option for members experiencing depression symptoms.
·        A resource for providers to refer members diagnosed with depression.
Access to effective self-care resources for members with milder symptoms.
