Department Wide Recruiting Efforts

Denver Fire Department Recruiting

The Denver Fire Recruiting Division is actively seeking candidates who are interested in becoming a part of the fire service.  We have been canvassing, calling, and meeting with potential candidates through visiting Cross Fit gyms, college / university, athletic teams, and word of mouth, etc.  We realize that we are unable to cover every base and have requested your help in this endeavor.   As you contemplate possible candidates, please  considering referring someone in our underrepresented groups, including minorities and women in particular.

It is our hope that you will recommend at least one candidate whom you believe would be a perfect fit in this career.   The time is now, as we are set to begin testing at the end of the year.   This testing cycle only comes around every two years.  If you know of at least one candidate who is interested in becoming a part of this brother & sisterhood, please contact us.

Our ability to recruit is limited by our ability to reach the masses.   You have gone through the rigorous testing process and physical training.  You know exactly what it takes to be a firefighter and that is why we are in need of your help.  Once they are through the door and we are able to contact them, we can provide the resources and information to help them be successful.  To make this recruiting process easier, I am providing you with an information sheet that you can share with the candidate.  For more information please call or email us….Thank you for your help in advance.
