Recently,  Chief 2,  Operations and the Fire Prevention Bureau collaborated together to address nuisance alarm concerns with a building in District 2 that companies responded to several times.  Companies would respond to an elevator rescue call due to a refuge area alarm within the building being miss reported.

For the past several months through February 2014, companies responded to multiple false alarms at the location a number of times each week.

During the Month of March, there was only 1 occurrence of the false alarm.  During the month of April, so far, there have been zero responses to the location for a refuge area false alarm.
