The Denver Fire Department’s Administration/Training Chief oversees the programs and administrative functions that support member development, organizational integrity, and departmental readiness. This role provides leadership for the Fire Investigation Unit, the Internal Affairs Unit, and the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Program. The Administration/Training Chief also supervises all recruitment efforts, the Recruit Academy, incumbent training, and the department’s Safety Program. In addition, they oversee the CMCB Board and the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) process. Through this broad and critical portfolio, the Administration/Training Chief ensures that Denver Fire maintains high professional standards, develops skilled and prepared firefighters, and fosters a safe, inclusive, and accountable workplace.
