FireWomen 2017 – June 7-10, 2017 – Westminster Colorado
This one of a kind professional development and national training opportunity for women firefighters is sponsored by the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control and hosted by FireWomen, an amazing organization including both retired and active women firefighters from Colorado.
The conference will include a day of Hands on Training in Auto Extrication, Ladders, SCBA, Search and Rescue, Saws, Forcible Entry, and Live Fire. As well as a day of classroom sessions on Nutrition, Fitness, Empowerment, Financial Planning, Succession Planning, Peer Support/Resiliency, Making Fireground Decisions Under Stress, Hash Oil Awareness, Essential Oils/Sleep/Stress/Life Management, and more.
In addition, there will be a Fire Officer I class from June 5-10, 2017 in conjunction with the conference. To ensure participants get to benefit from the 2017 FireWomen Conference, attendees in the Fire Officer I class will attend opening ceremonies and Chief’s Luncheon on June 7th and the Banquet on Friday night June 9th.
